# Moving funds out

> Transfer available assets, redeem a position first when needed, and recover an interrupted transfer.

First identify the account holding your assets. Your connected wallet, Coinbase account and earlier Safes have separate balances and exits; use [Accounts & permissions](/account-and-settings/accounts-and-permissions) if unsure.

**Stopping permission, redeeming a position and transferring assets are separate actions.** Check the exact account, network, token, amount and destination before signing.

## Send USDC from your Coinbase account

Open [Legacy wallet recovery](https://useotto.xyz/app/legacy-wallet-recovery) and sign in with the email you used for the original wallet. The page does not create a new wallet; new funding is retired. See [Accounts & permissions](/account-and-settings/accounts-and-permissions#what-a-permission-allows) for the permission's limits and who enforces them.

This sends available **USDC on Base** to an address you choose. It does not redeem a yield position, move a legacy balance or cash out to a bank.

1. **Check the source balance.** Verify the Base address and available USDC. If assets are in a supported yield vault, withdraw them to this account first: under **Existing holdings and vault positions**, **Review withdrawal** opens that vault's withdrawal review.
2. **Stop Otto's permission.** Confirm the result, then resolve pending or unknown activity. An unreadable record does not mean earlier work has finished.
3. **Keep ETH for network fees.** The transfer needs sufficient USDC and a small amount of Base ETH in the same wallet. If the wallet has no ETH, email [support@useotto.xyz](mailto:support@useotto.xyz) instead of funding it. The review's execution-fee limit does not include the additional network data fee.
4. **Enter and review the full destination and amount.** No recipient is filled in for you. Preparing reserves that exact transfer across your signed-in devices; it does not send it.
5. **Sign with Coinbase.** Review the approved details before confirming.
6. **Check the final result.** A submitted hash is not completion. Use the saved transfer and explorer link to follow confirmation.

Availability depends on the current account, permission, activity and balance checks shown in the app.

### If signing or confirmation is interrupted

Return to the same signed-in account and use the action offered for its saved transfer: **Resume signing**, **Check Base status**, **Cancel transfer preparation**, **Recover transfer preparation**, or **Retry same transaction**. Recovery can be temporarily blocked while another device holds the transfer.

Retrying the saved transaction is different from making a new transfer. If the outcome is unknown, do not create another transfer to compensate. Keep its hash or reference and contact [support](/support-and-feedback/getting-help) if the recovery controls cannot resolve it.

## Connected wallet and Stocks

Use your wallet's transfer controls for assets it holds. To exchange a stock token first, use a supported **Sell** route in [Stocks](/using-otto-ai/stocks). Stopping Coinbase permission neither sells nor transfers connected-wallet holdings.

## Earlier Safe balances

Open **Earlier Safe wallets** on [Legacy wallet recovery](https://useotto.xyz/app/legacy-wallet-recovery) and connect the original wallet. Do not send new funds to an earlier Safe.

| Account | Available exit |
| - | - |
| **Trading Safe** | The legacy **Withdraw** panel sends eligible Base USDC to the connected wallet, signed by the service. Other assets or chains may require support. |
| **Owner-controlled funding Safe** | When your connected wallet is verified as its sole owner, the page links to Safe Wallet on Base, where you review and sign a USDC transfer back to your wallet yourself. A Safe that was never deployed needs separate recovery preparation. This is a different account from the trading Safe above. |
| **Eligible earlier smart-contract-wallet funding** | The [recovery page](https://useotto.xyz/recovery) supports specific USDC funding-Safe cases. Reconnect the original wallet and review recovery to that address. It is not a universal Safe recovery tool. |

The legacy **Cash out** flow is retired.

## Other service accounts

Otto Hyperliquid trading is retired. For an existing account, follow [protected recovery](/acp-swarm/hyperliquid) after a current balance, position and order read; no new deposits or exposure are permitted. Use the dedicated exit instructions for [Prediction Markets](/acp-swarm/prediction-markets) or [Otto X](/acp-swarm/otto-x). Positions may need closing or redemption first. Signing in to the app does not establish those accounts' balance or withdrawal status.
